Tracked conventional excavator ET42: The boost for every construction site

Full speed ahead: The ET42 mini excavator combines proven technology with a large dose of innovation to become a champion in the 4-metric ton class. It has the usual high lifting and digging forces as well as fast work cycles. Thanks to modern technologies, emissions are reduced while efficiency is increased. The ET42’s powerful engine meets Stage V emissions standards. The excavator also makes an impression in terms of user-friendliness. Work is easy and comfortable due to the intuitive operating concept and the excellent view of the working area.

Vertical Digging System VDS+

The vertical digging system compensates for slopes of up to 15 degrees, making it possible to vertically excavate on a slope. This is not only ergonomic for the operator, but it also saves time and also means less excavated material.

Up to 25% material and time savings when excavating and filling. Work is safer with up to 20% increased stability.

3-point kinematics

With 3-point kinematics, conventional bucket linkage has been taken to a new level. This “3-bolt” design extends the bucket’s angle of rotation to 200 degrees – 10% more than conventional bucket linkage. This increases the vertical dig depth as well as the digging forces. It is therefore no longer necessary to reposition the excavator as often, significantly increasing efficiency.

Hydraulic thumb

The optional hydraulic thumb offers, beside a conventional bucket application, a grip function, which expands the spectrum of applications.

With this additional grip function, material can be cleared away quite easily.

Active Working Signal (AWS)

The red LED strip running diagonally over the engine hood lights up when the joystick control is pressed down. This signals to bystanders nearby that the excavator is ready for operation and can be moved at any time.
